Meet Neel
Welcome to Neelanjana Bharadwaj's profile, where architecture, yoga, and Ayurveda converge to create a harmonious and balanced life.
With over 23 years of experience, Neelanjana is an accomplished architect, a passionate yoga teacher, and a certified Ayurvedic Digestive Health Coach.
Neelanjana’s journey into yoga began when she was diagnosed with a serious autoimmune disorder that affected her joints. Through the transformative power of homeopathy and yoga, she not only overcame her illness but also discovered her life’s purpose. Eager to share the merits of yoga with others, she pursued teacher training in both Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga from Bangalore, India. As an ERYT200 and YACEP, Neelanjana continually expands her knowledge and skills through various courses and workshops, keeping her practice fresh and dynamic.
Recognized as a QCI Level 3 qualified Yoga teacher and Evaluator with The Ministry of Ayush from the government of India, Neelanjana is dedicated to her ongoing yogic education. She imparts her wisdom and expertise in yoga philosophy and Hatha Yoga as part of the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC) held by Bliss Yoga in Bahrain. The rewarding experience of guiding aspiring yoga teachers has made a lasting impact on countless individuals who attend her sessions from Bahrain and around the world.
In her pursuit of holistic wellness, Neelanjana delved into Ayurveda, the ancient science of healing, during the COVID-19 lockdown. She completed an extensive “Self-Healing through Ayurveda” course in India, followed by additional specialized training. Her passion for Ayurveda led her to earn a “Masters in Ayurvedic Digestion and Nutrition” from a NAMA Certified institute in the U.S.A., empowering her to serve as an Ayurvedic Digestive Health Coach. Neelanjana believes that the union of yoga and Ayurveda, being sister sciences, offers profound insights into achieving overall well-being.
With a rich background in architecture spanning over two decades, Neelanjana has seamlessly integrated the principles of “Vaastu Vidya,” the traditional Indian science of architecture, into her designs. Her firsthand experience of how energetics influence spaces motivated her to study Vaastu in-depth. Today, she actively consults with individuals to harmonize their home and work environments, incorporating Vaastu wisdom for positive energy flow and harmonious living.

Neelanjana’s expertise extends beyond her roles as a yoga teacher and an architect. She is an avid speaker who has been invited to various platforms to share her inspiring journey and the nuances of the ancient Vedic system. She was honored to present at the first-ever Yoga Teacher’s Conference held in Dubai in 2019, where her talk on “Work-Life Balance” resonated deeply with the audience, showcasing the practical application of yogic principles.
Facilitating transformative Yoga and Ayurveda Wellness Retreats in India and abroad has been an integral part of Neelanjana’s mission to introduce people to the wisdom of the Vedic system. By connecting with individuals and sharing her craft, she brings about positive change in their lives. Neelanjana’s passion for yoga and Ayurveda is further exemplified through her weekly column, “The Yoga Buzz,” featured in Bahrain This Week for over five years. Additionally, she has authored her first published book, “The Yoga Handbook,” which serves as a comprehensive guide to yoga practice.
